About me
I am self-taught and concentrate on taking images that I like rather than images that are 'correct'. As an art form photography is about expression and I will happily use a variety of techniques both in camera or later in post-processing to create the final image.
I live in Somerset and many of my images are taken in and around the South West of England. I love going to the coast and capturing seascapes, visiting heritage properties to photograph the wonderful flowers and plants on display in their beautiful gardens, exploring towns and cities to capture the beauty of buildings and street scenes and wander through the countryside to marvel at the wonderful landscapes that we have.
I also enjoy travelling further afield so there are images from some of the many trips I have been fortunate to take over the years.
Recent work
These are a few of my most recent photographs taken on trips to Venice and Amsterdam and trying a new technique of 'sub-merged flowers'.
